Tomorrow the 10th of April makes it a year since the death of a courageous comrade, the man who stood at the forefront of the war between students and the school management. A student of the University of Port Harcourt killed by an overzealous policeman during a protest over hike in school fees: Peter Chibuzor Ofurum.

He was murdered by the system; our system that encourages impunity and treats the poor with disdain.

“Right now I feel like I’m caught up in the middle. I cry Just a little when I think of Peter. No better way to say it but the killer was a coward. Heard about the news and the whole day went sour. We all victims. You deserve a bed In charnels and on coffins, where death keeps record of your trophies won. Your death silence sings our national anthem. No matter what we do to ignore this pain, deep inside we know we’ll never see you again. And I thought these emotions would vanish already. I’ve been trying to live trying to figure how a soldier vanished; No cheers!  I know you wouldn’t panic”

Rest In Peace 😢😥😭😭😭😭😭

The struggle is real!  So is God!
